We are moving!

As we continue to successfully expand and grow our business, we have set up a new Distribution and Receiving Hub in Sittingbourne, Kent. This will enable us to receive inventory more efficiently and draw from it on demand via our new purpose built site, also in Sittingbourne.

Our new HQ will house sales and marketing, engineering, development & testing all under one roof. It will also ensure we hold our top 100 key products all ready for immediate same day dispatch.

While building works are finalised, we will all be located at the new DRH (Distribution & Receiving Hub) located at: C/O TLS, Gas Road, Sittingbourne, Kent. ME10 2QB

Furthermore to help serve our customers effectively, we have also set up a new VOP phone system with a local rate call charge number: 03330 152552

The Board of Safehold Ltd have approved and executed a stock transfer agreement on August 4th with cofounder Neil Hosken. Based on this agreement Neil will no longer have an active role in Safehold Ltd, but he will continue to support the company as a vendor of goods and services.

Neil has been a valued and important part of the Safehold journey, we are grateful to Neil and his team for being instrumental in building our operational success to date. Neil will now spend his time focused on his other business activities and his passion for all things Cricket! We wish Neil and his team who are currently co-shared between the previous “Group” structure every success in their future endeavours.

Based on the agreement executed on August 4th, Oliver Auston, CEO is now the sole shareholder in Safehold Ltd. Safehold Ltd will continue to operate from the existing Sheerness facility while the leadership team explore relocation opportunities and our day-to-day sales and operations remain unchanged.

It is with great pleasure we announce on 25th January 2023 the signing of a Service & Distribution Agreement between EMM Corp (USHA MARTIN LIMITED) AND SAFEHOLD LIMITED.

Safehold has appointed EMM Corp as a strategic service and distribution partner with Scottish territory protection. This agreement will see the first Safehold service and distribution centre established in Aberdeen complimenting its JV with Tiger Lifting who also work with EMM. Customers will now be able to have local supply, support and servicing for the full height safety product offering from Safehold. Including some unique products specifically developed for the demanding environment in the North Sea.

Safehold is a new and exciting brand in the height safety and lifting equipment industry. Founded by two highly experienced and successful industry leaders who both bring their own unique and complimentary skill set. Neil Hosken and Oliver Auston alongside their team have over 100 years of industry experience with quality, service and value being their priority at all times.

Safehold is proud to develop all its product in the UK with both in-house engineering Safehold has an extensive range of textile lifting and lashing equipment alongside an innovative range of height safety equipment. The recently launched SentinelTM Inertia Reels/ (SRL) have already become the NEW industry standard in key markets verticals. With an exciting product road map ahead, this new partnership will help both businesses develop important market sectors and tackle new technical challenges.

Tiger Lifting UK Limited and Safehold Limited Sign Exclusive Strategic Manufacturing and Distribution Agreement

It is with great pleasure we announce a unique joint venture agreement between two industry heavyweights, Tiger Lifting UK Limited and Safehold Limited.

Safehold has appointed Tiger Lifting as a strategic manufacturing partner for a range of complimentary products including some unique co-developed winches alongside many other exciting new developments. This is an important step for Safehold in securing overseas manufacturing with world class like-minded partners.

Tiger has further agreed to partner with Safehold on all its Height Safety products for the future with Safehold providing technical knowhow, product supply, training, and servicing.

Tiger will remain focused on the development of its core lifting gear products but now has the depths to support height safety products through this unique partnership and strategic alliance with Safehold.

We will soon be releasing a NEW jointly developed hand winches specifically developed for confined space access. Safehold has provided the engineering enhancements and user insights while Tiger has been able to focus on manufacturing where their expertise is unparalleled in the marketplace. Tiger have been at the forefront of innovative winch design for over 40 years and pioneered the first ever brake hand winch.

Both businesses see this partnership as industry pioneering, complimentary and strategically important.

This past March the safety industry lost a legend with the passing of George MacKay. With over 40 years in the industry, MacKay was the founder of Uni-Hoist, Fall Soft and the GD MacKay Co Ltd, as well as a pioneer in the confined space fall protection market.  Safehold Ltd is honoured to announce that the MacKay family and executors reached an agreement on 1st September 2022 to sell the company assets to Safehold Ltd. Oliver Auston, CEO of Safehold Ltd had been a friend and business associate of MacKay’s for over 20 years. Safehold and Auston feel the continuation of the business and future product development will be in honour of MacKay’s legacy.

Auston stated, “We are excited and humbled by this opportunity. We will raise a glass or two of the finest Scottish Whiskey to pay tribute to our dear friend George and to mark the re-boot of this journey. Expanding our North American product offering particularly in the specialist anchors category and in confined space access is a key strategic priority of us. George’s energy and passion will live on, of that there is no doubt!”

There is no change to the product quality or availability. All products will continue to be manufactured and distributed via our existing domestic partners in the US and Canada. Lorraine MacKay, George’s daughter, will remain with Safehold as a Consultant Product Specialist and will support the transition. The late George MacKay

We are excited that after many months in the creation of this new and vibrant company. We are finally ready to launch our first range of Lifting Equipment with many more products to quickly follow.
