Prerequisites:

Minimum age of 18 years
A good understanding of the English language

Theory:

Legislation and legal responsibilities
Principles of fall protection and the hierarchy of controls
What restraint, fall arrest and work positioning systems are, their components, uses and limitations
How to identify a safe place of work and safe system of work at height
The importance of inspection, care and maintenance of fall protection equipment

Practical:

Pre-use check of personal fall protection equipment (harness and lanyards)
Correct donning and adjustment of a harness
